The Corporation of Lloyd's hosted the Naval Brigade from HMS Powerful. During the event, men of the crew were presented with a badge inscription H.M.S. Powerful "Lloyd's 7th May 1900"
Earlier that same day, the Naval Brigade traveled to London to be officially inspected by the Prince of Wales and the Lords of the Admiralty at the Horse Guards.
The heroes marched through the capital alongside the very same 4.7-inch and 12-pounder makeshift naval guns they had used to break the siege. This procession was even captured in early moving pictures of the era by the British Film
