The interior with leather sweatband silk edging, partially detached. Paper label Barisa and A. berry written onto sweatband. makers label to the crown "PIPE & McGILL covent garden" ,
A really nice example.

Raised in 1860 they volunteered over 120 men to serve in the Boer war, but because of age restrictions only 28 actually served. They were attached to the Suffolk Regiment.
