An extremely rare late Victorian example.
The glengarry hat is of regimental pattern complete with cap badge silk trim (Correct for the period) and silk tails. The interior cotton lining. Looking at the split pin and a genuine badge, I am happy it has always fitted to the hat
However the badge has had repairs and replacement lug fitted in its life.
One or two small moth nips, to the wool and deterioration to the silk hat band. , other wise in good sleeper condition to a rare unit.
