WW2 BRITISH MILITARY HELVETIA GS/TP POCKET WATCH

manufactured by Helvetia (General Watch Co. Switzerland).

These watches were issued to British forces during the late 1930s–1940s and are identifiable by the GS/TP military marking and broad arrow stamp inside the caseback.

The watch measures approximately 52mm excluding the crown, making it a larger military example.

The white enamel dial is signed Helvetia and remains in used condition. All numerals, hands and subsidiary seconds dial are present.as is the illuminated numbers and hands. In working order keeps good time.
