Officers 1868-1881 PATTERN HELMET

A good rare Officer’s blue cloth home service pattern helmet. To the front a silvered universal crowned star pattern plate, mounted with laurel wreath and Garter, the centre with Rose of the House of York. Complete with silvered furniture of spike, rose head bosses supporting a silvered interlinked chin chain with velvet backing. The interior the leather sweatband and quilted silk lining are missing.
