WW2 GERMAN 1939 BAR TO IRON CROSS 2ND CLASS

A 1939 bar to the Iron Cross 2nd Class made by Steinhauer & Lück. Contained in LDO box of issue.
A heavily silver plated bar with fine detail, frosted finish and polished highlights.
The reverse complete with all four flat pins, and the LDO makers code 'L/16' to the centre.

MAKER MARK = L / 16 Steinhauer & Lück

The L = LDO, the Organization of German Medal Manufacturers, regulated the manufacture and sale of German awards.
