A scarce original 'Women's Land Army and Timber Corps Veterans badge, officially awarded by the 'Government Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs' from 6 December 2007, to those who served during the First or Second World Wars. Crowned gilt metal laurel wreath, bearing central wheatsheaf on a field of white enamel within a title circlet inlaid with green 'Women's Land Army and Timber Corps', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Firmin'.
