RAF Pilots Silk Under-Gloves

An excellent an apparently issued pair of RAF Silk gloves for wear under the gauntlets for added warmth.

Both are in excellent condition Both have Crows foot stamps and Ref. No. 22c/ 1253237 Size 8/2 4207

I can find no date and although the 22c section number predates the 1933 pattern gauntlets, the Reference seven digit would be a NATO stock number. (1949-1955 early cold war item)
