RAF Cold War Type A-13A Oxygen Mask

A scarce example, complete with microphone,electrics & oxygen hose with QR. Release. This example fitted with rod fitting. The mask remains in good condition,

with Type-51 microphone and UK MC-3A ("warning") oxygen hose conenctor, but upgraded with "Gabb" toggle harness mounted to a hard exo-skeleton.

The Gabb harness fitted to the A-13A/2 had triangular plates which required 3 pop studs per side on the helmet (previous masks used two). So, the G-Type helmet was born, replacing the F-Type helmet which only could support earlier masks requiring 2 pop studs per side
