2nd Battn Drum A good rope tension example. The front emblazoned with a regimental devic and the Battle Honours from The Cape of Good Hope to Gaza Yellow body which supports the Yellow and Red painted wooden rims. This Historic drum played The Regiment Out at the Fall of Singapore, February 1942

The decoration remains bright and clear.But has scratches in places reported to be mutilation by Japanese bayonet
